With more than 26 years of experience in the restaurant, hospitality and wine industry, Stanley Browne brings superior knowledge and expertise on the many aspects of wine.
Mr. Browne’s extensive background in food and wine expands over living in four different countries. From a family history of wine collection in London, England and Tipperary, Ireland, to Commis Chef culinary work in Basel, Switzerland, as well as, pub and restaurant management at McSwiggans in Galway, Ireland, Stanley Browne has a diversified background well- suited to both the hospitality and wine industry.
After receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Hotel and Catering Management from the College of

Galway and a few years of field experience, Stanley journeyed back to the United States to work in Hotel and Restaurant management for Marriott Hotels and Seven Gables Inn.Much of Stanley’s exposure to wine began at youth. His father was a collector of French wines and a connoisseur of Burgundy and Bordeaux wines. He spent his younger years mastering the art of decanting, and tasting some of the finest wines in production.
For over 9 years Mr. Browne worked for A. Bommarito Wines, consulting and selling wine to restaurants, wine stores and Country Clubs in Clayton, Ladue, and Frontenac. In 2007 Stanley began a new venture - “Robust” - a Wine Bar, Wine Retail Shoppe, and Café scheduled to debut in Webster Groves in June.

Jennifer Johnson, CS, CSW

Certified Specialist of Wine
Jennifer Johnson’s goal is simple: Create enthusiasm and awareness for
wine in a fun, unpretentious way. A Level II Certified Sommelier from
the Master Court of Sommeliers and a Certified Specialist of Wine from
the Society of Wine Educators, Ms. Johnson discovered her passion for
wine while directing food & beverage operations at the Mobil Five
Star and AAA Five Diamond properties Peninsula Beverly Hills Hotel
and Raffles L’Ermitage Beverly Hills Hotel.
In 2003, Ms. Johnson joined LearnAboutWine, quickly re-directing a
small seminar-based business into a prolific source for trade and
consumer wine education events in Southern California. Ms. Johnson
collaborated with more than 50 wine industry associations, including
Santa Barbara Vintners and Growers Association, New Zealand Wine
Commission and the Bordeaux Wine Bureau. Additionally, she worked
with Fox Searchlight Films and Think Film Company to successfully
produce opening nights and wine receptions for the films Sideways
and Mondovino respectively, in Los Angeles.

Currently the marketing director for an award-winning Missouri winery, Ms. Johnson also works as an independent
consultant and wine educator in St. Louis. She has appeared on television & radio, including St. Louis’ Fox 2 “Midday
News,” Channel 5’s “Show Me St. Louis,” KMOX’s “The Science of Food,” WGNU AM 920’s “On the Table,” and the
west coast CRN Networks’ “What’s Cooking.” Ms. Johnson actively serves for the Society of Wine Educators’
Southwest Regional Membership Committee, assisting in increasing Society awareness in Missouri.
